I have a simple UIViewController, UITabBarController, that presents the view of another UIViewController with a NavigationBar:

The FishViewController just present another UIViewController with a UITabBarController like this:

And the problem is the next:
the FishViewController is presented to the user with a UINavigationBar, but the MainVC is presented with a UITabBarController in the same storyboard.
I set the navigationbar of the FishViewController to transparent.
Now I tried to use the following:
self.navigationController?.presentViewController(self.navigationController!.topViewController!, animated: true, completion: nil)
But it did not work, the view of the FishVC is presented but the MainVC doesn’t appear…
How can I present a view (MainVC) inside the FishViewController without disappearing the MainVC?

You need to set the correct NavigationController Delegate to FishViewController:
