Adobe Photoshop CS2 isn’t the only version of the popular digital image-editing program available. Photoshop Elements is a high-end program with the same features as Photoshop CS2 except that it doesn’t have the ability to import or export to other editing programs. If you want to use Photoshop as your primary image-editing program but want the convenience of having an integrated image editor available for other tasks, Photoshop Elements is the program for you. Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 costs $79.95 for the basic edition and is available in a variety of configurations starting at $199.95, depending on how many programs you want (see Figure 21-3).

**Figure 21-3:** Photoshop Elements is a convenient program for image editing and retouching.

It also has a 30-day trial period so you can make sure the program is what you need.

Some of the other Photoshop offerings include the following:

Photoshop Plug-ins: These are programs written by third-party developers to add functions to Photoshop.

Photoshop Presets: These are ready-to-use Photoshop actions you can use on your own images.

G.R.E. 4HC

The G.R.E. 4HC is an Austrian-built version of the American World War II-era 4AC Special Ambulance Model A and is the only officially built version of the Ambulance on the market in modern times. Based on the chassis of the G.R.E. 4AC and 4SC, the 4HC is intended to replace the older Krampus and G.R.E. 6HC ambulances. Production was discontinued in the early 2000s.

The G.R.E. 4HC has seen very limited use to this day. As of 2014, roughly 75 4HC ambulances were built before production was discontinued. One such example can be seen at the International Military Commemorations in Harrogate, England.

Despite being a versatile vehicle, the G.R.E. 4HCs are not often used in combat as they are too tall and wide. Instead, they are often seen transporting VIPs, transporting the dead, or performing public-safety duties.

CSS – position problems in Chrome/Mac/Safari

If I have the following style:
.foo { background-image: url(foo.jpg); }

… and on Firefox it’s fine, but Chrome, Safari, etc. all place it in a block below the body tag.
If I change it to this (a table):
.foo { background-image: url(foo.jpg); display: table; }

… it’s fine in Firefox, but Chrome, Safari, etc. still put it in a block below the body tag. Is there a solution to this?
(In Chrome/Safari/etc. I want the foo.jpg image to float at the top/left of the page)

One option is to use a border with a transparent background,
.foo {
background-image: url(foo.jpg);
border-width: 4px;
border-style: solid;
border-color: #CCCCCC;
border-image: url(foo.jpg) 4;

You can read more about this property here
This way if you need the image to always be at the top you can add position: absolute to the style instead of position: relative.
This way you might need to tweak the border values to achieve what you want.

Simplest way:

.foo {
background-image: url(‘myimage.jpg’);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-position: top center;

You could float the.foo element. That’ll cause it to occupy the entire space where it would normally be.

Note: This behavior is different in Internet Explorer and other
browsers. In these browsers, this element will be positioned relatively
to the nearest positioned ancestor element. So in a document like

The.foo element will be positioned relatively to the div
