I have an assignment (a challenge at our institution). My code was accepted (I did my best), but two examiners thought I could’ve done better.
Here’s the assignment:
Write a function called longest_left_mismatch, which takes as input a string and returns the index of the first character in the string at which there is the most difference from a character in the string on the left and a character in the string on the right.
Your function should iterate over the string exactly once, and should return -1 (the real longest_left_mismatch) if there are no differences, otherwise it should return the index of the first character in the string at which there is the most difference from a character in the string on the left and a character in the string on the right.
Sample Input/Output:
longest_left_mismatch(“”, “”) -> 0
longest_left_mismatch(“”, “ab”) -> 0

This game is another Square Enix brought to us by the legendary Final Fantasy series. While I know this isn’t your typical adventuring quest, the game offers a massively open world for you to explore where you never really get lost as long as you know where you’re going, and it has tons of intricate combat and an interesting story line.

Crafting and leveling up your character is another aspect that this game has that I absolutely adore. You can literally build up your character and then go in and do dungeons with their new class, and there are plenty of options for you to explore. I personally am a huge fan of this game, so if you’re ever in the market for an RPG then this is certainly it. If you’re expecting to have easy-going game play, however, I’d say avoid this one. It takes a lot of work and dedication to level up and you’ll definitely want to keep that in mind if you’re going to play this game.

Last but not least, the online aspect to this game is absolutely epic. It’s not likely that you’ll find an MMO combat game like this, so if you’re in the market for a unique multiplayer world with a ton of content and fun gameplay then this game is worth trying out. Some people complain about how some of the content is repetitive or predictable, but I’m fine with that. This is no typical MMO game where you’ll spend 20 hours in the game and then get bored of it.

Overall, this game has a ton of content, a unique story, an interesting combat system, and an innovative crafting system. If you’re looking for a new RPG, give this a try, but you may have to give it some time to see if you like the game or not.
