Preparing the Original Photo
The photo we’ll be working on is a close-up of a 1940’s vintage wine glass being held by a wine server.
To create the image, we’ll start with an image that already has elements of our subject.
Start with a new photo window of 800×600 pixels and fill it with the full-screen gray default color of Photoshop.
We want to isolate the subject so we’ll create a new layer using the Pen tool and set its layer mode to Overlay. (The Pen tool is found in the toolbox, just above the Brush tool, under the Text tool.)
Using the Pen tool, draw a selection around the subject by clicking and holding down the mouse’s left button.
Another way to select is to use the Rectangular Marquee tool:
Now you can click back in your photo window and delete the exterior image outside the selection. You can do this by pressing Delete (backspace on the keyboard).
You can also do this to the foreground if you’d like by pressing CMD+Z on the keyboard.
Finally, select File | Save from the menu, and choose PICTURE as your file type. Enter the location and name for the file. Photoshop stores the photos in the format of.tif, so we leave the filename as is.
We want to create a copy of the selection because we’ll be adding a layer mask to the subject’s layer. Select Layer | Create a new layer. Then select the new layer and press CMD+D to duplicate it. Next, rotate the layer 90° clockwise with the Rotate tool.
This is a layer mask so we want to make sure that nothing is visible, so select Layer | Layer Mask | Create Layer Mask from the menu. Then click OK (or hit Enter) to close the menu.
Using the Polygonal Lasso, select the four corners of the layer mask. Now

The present invention relates to a tunnel welding electrode and to a method of producing this electrode.
It is known to use a strip electrode produced from a flat metal strip as a tunnel welding electrode. The production method used in this connection includes the steps of first stamping, rolling, and coiling a metal strip so as to produce a metal sheet. The metal sheet is then cut into a plurality of narrow strips. These strips are then arranged in a zigzag pattern onto an electrode holder.
The use of this type of strip electrode for tunnel welding has disadvantages. These disadvantages are due to the fact that the strips differ in thickness, because the rolling process produces a relatively thin strip material on the order of from 0.04 to 0.50 mm and a relatively thick strip material on the order of from 0.15 to 0.55 mm. In addition, the strips become rougher with time because of their contact with material of a different thickness in the rolling process.Q:

I have a Date field in my access database. I want to retrieve the oldest record in the Date field. I tried to find answer for this, but came across only SELECT TOP 1 or SELECT TOP (1) syntax, which retrieves only the first record. I want to retrieve the oldest record in the Date field.
I tried many things, can anyone tell me what is the best solution for my problem?
Thanks in Advance,

Malignant tumor of the soft palate is a rare disease entity with tumors derived from the tongue, thyroid, mediastinum, oropharynx and even the skin. The treatment of small palatal tumors is still a challenge in oral and maxillofacial surgery \[1,2\]. The management of soft tissue tumors of the head and neck is a surgical oncologist’s challenge. Poor facial symmetry and esthetic appearance are the main problems encountered during surgery. In this report, we present a rare case of poorly differentiated lymphoepithelioma/nasopharyngeal carcinoma and discuss the special features of this case with a review of the literature.

Seroepidemiological study of chronic progressive myocarditis (CPM) in Portugal.
The objective of this study was to evaluate a possible relationship between chronic progressive myocarditis (CPM) and human endogenous retrovirus (HERV) nucleic acid expression in peripheral blood leukocytes. One hundred and twenty-one patients (59.5% female, mean age 54.1 years, range 22-88) fulfilling El Sadr’s criteria for the diagnosis of CPM were included in the study. An epidemiological study was conducted using the following: a questionnaire; a neurological examination, echocardiography and electrocardiography; and a blood test for the detection of Human Immunodeficiency Virus and other infections. HERV-K gene expression in peripheral blood leukocytes was determined by real-time PCR and quantified using a standard curve created by a HEK293-based cell line. Only 15 (12.2%) cases had a previous history of possible risk factor exposure. The authors observed a statistically significant association between the presence of HERV-K nucleic acid in the blood and a previous history of possible risk factor exposure (p=0.018). Patients with a positive CPM test were also younger (52.3 years vs 59.2 years; p=0.016) than those with a negative CPM test. The authors did not observe a significant association between the presence of HERV-K nucleic acid in the blood and any of the other parameters analysed. This is the first time that HERV expression has been correlated with the presence of CPM.Q:
Why should I have separate development, test and production server?
We use Play framework 2.1.1, to develop in. We have a test environment for auto-testing using embedded Jetty, and then a production environment that runs in Web servers, primarily Apache Tomcat 7.
Normally we leave out development code from the final production builds of the website. This does increase the production server footprint as a result.
Is there a reason, besides performance, why we should separate our development builds from our production build, other than that they are typically quite different?
I’ve been using our test environment as the development environment, just with the test server now deployed on the production server instead.
Speed. An extra start-up time is a problem because it takes time to load a website.

The graphic engine of DASH, that is the portion of the software responsible for drawing, gives you full control of the entire depth of a car. More specifically, you can adjust the texture that will be painted in the 3D bodywork, which is how it will look to the player. Thanks to its features you can also create true reflections on the car
