Drifta is a light application and it doesn’t use more than 100 MB of RAM. Drifta is a flexible tool and can therefore be used for other applications such as Skype or YouTube but in addition to these, Drifta allows you to view DStv mobile or GOtv mobile channels.
Drifta features:
• Shows DVB-H channels from the 714 DStv (DStv 714 and DStv 714+ Digital) and GOtv (GOtv 736, GOtv 737 and GOtv 738 Digital) satellites.
• Available EPG data is provided for all the channels.
• Shows the language subtitles for the selected channel.
• Allows you to control the channel with key combinations (à la Teletext).
• Use drifta as a Standalone application for watching the live stream of the channels or as an EPG entry.

Overview
If you own a Mac running OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard), you can watch DStv Mobile or GOtv Mobile channels with Drifta. You will need to use the STB11 ethernet adapter that came with your Apple TV 2.

Drifta uses a Modems that support DVB-H 3.00 (DLNA/AACS). Drifta requires DStv Mobile Service or GOtv Mobile Service with Concurrent Technology.
Drifta is currently not working with other providers. When Drifta finds DStv Mobile Service or GOtv Mobile Service with Concurrent Technology, Drifta can scan DVB-H channels and automatically select them. If Drifta is unable to find such a service, it will scan the DVB-H frequencies and manually select the channels that are available. Note that Drifta will not select any additional channels that are already present in the DStv Mobile Service or GOtv Mobile Service with Concurrent Technology.
